Senior congressman of the region, Narendra B Darade, has been in the service of the rural and farmers society for the last 30 years. To bring about social awakening and upliftment of rural society, he restarted Santosh Janseva Trust.
He was awarded the "Late. Indira Gandhi National Sadbhavana" award at Hyderabad in the year 2003-04, "Rashtriya Ekatmata" award at Bangalore in the year 2004-05, and "Hind Ratna" award at London in the year 2007-08.
Realizing the technical and professional need of the region, he pioneered Jagdamba Education Society in the year 1991, which started a host of institutions from pre-primary to technical science, health science, teacher training, agriculture, etc.
Inspired by his elder brother Narendrabhau, Hon. Kishor B Darade pioneered Matoshri Education Society in 2007 to serve society by providing quality education in rural areas. Matoshri Education Society symbolizes the ascendance of the plateau of achievement of academic excellence in the dissemination of quality education from pre-primary to postgraduate courses.
Mr. Kishor B Darade, a recipient of Maharashtra Kesari and a Youth Icon, leads by example and is involved in emphasizing the importance of physical education and health. Hon. Sau. Surekhatai Darade headed Mahila Bal Samittee of Zilla Parishad, Nasik.
